← Back to homeThe short version
Ravelets stores exactly two kinds of things in your browser. No ad trackers, no profiling, no session recording — ever.
What we store
- rv_session (cookie, strictly necessary) — an HTTP-only session cookie that keeps you logged in. JavaScript cannot read it, and it is deleted when you log out or the session expires.
- Your local preferences (localStorage) — small settings such as your theme (light/dark) and your cookie choice. These stay in your browser and are not used to track you.
What we do not do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No profiling of you or your customers for ad networks.
- No session recording or heatmaps.
Your choices
You can clear localStorage and cookies any time from your browser settings. Blocking or deleting the session cookie simply logs you out — nothing else breaks. The free discovery flow works without either.
